CSK, after winning the toss and choosing to bat first, posted a competitive total of 180/7 in 20 overs. Sanju Samson provided an explosive start with a quick 27 off 13 balls, while Kartik Sharma played an attacking knock in the middle overs. In reply, SRH began aggressively despite losing an early wicket. Ishan Kishan anchored the chase brilliantly with a match-winning 70 runs off 47 balls, playing elegant strokes all around the ground. Heinrich Klaasen added momentum with a fiery 47 off just 26 deliveries, keeping the required run rate under control throughout the innings. Nitish Kumar Reddy provided calm support in the final overs as SRH comfortably crossed the finish line. (NDTV Sports)

For CSK, the bowlers struggled to contain SRH’s powerful batting lineup on a batting-friendly surface. Noor Ahmad and Akeal Hosein managed to pick up wickets, but the home side could not stop Kishan and Klaasen from dominating the chase. (Hindustan Times)

The victory boosted SRH’s chances of qualifying for the IPL 2026 playoffs, while CSK’s campaign moved closer to elimination after another disappointing defeat at home. (The Economic Times)
